VISION, COMMUNICATION & ACTION
This program in communication basics is designed to assist individuals on a team to communicate clearly. You will learn how to disagree effectively and constructively, and to co-operate in a way congruent with the overall established vision. You will also learn how to have more fun, create a more relaxed environment, and develop habits that support getting things done with less effort and greater success.
Objectives:
STAFF DEVELOPMENT THROUGH SELF ASSESSMENT
This program provides a way to assess and consider powerful unconscious factors that drive behavior, and is an excellent tool for personal development, team building, needs assessment, job assignments and leadership development. In this four hour program, analysis will be used to assess basic strengths, weaknesses, learning style, confidence level, fears and overall personality type. Each participant will first assess his own writing, and will be given specific practices to increase strengths, develop fluidity of thought and minimize weaknesses. Each participant will be taught how to identify significant strokes in other writing samples, thus teaching them to assess and understand key strengths, fears and motivations in others.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION - Creating Success and Satisfaction in the Workplace
This training program in effective communication will improve your ability to resolve conflicts, promote deeper understanding and co-operation among you, and uncover the common communication mistakes that generate ongoing stress and persistent miscommunication. You will learn how each individual mind interprets information and will be given a set of practices to increase understanding and minimize confusion. You will be trained to use simple, clear, direct communication to create a more relaxed environment, handle conflict effectively, and develop habits that support greater success with less effort.

This program focuses on the special needs of those in high stress and/or care giving positions. High levels of unresolved stress caused by repeating circumstances that produce anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, anger and frustration take a toll on the mind, emotions and body. The price of unresolved stress is high. This program teaches how to reduce stress, manage emotions and discharge pent up anger. Participants will learn specific relaxation methods, discover how to respond rather than react, and uncover mental and emotional habits that increase stress and anxiety. Each participant will create a personalized stress reduction plan based on his or her individual stress profile and personality. This program is designed with numerous exercises to adapt the information to the specific audience, making it ideal for all staff members and departments. We will create a common language and set of practices that can be applied in distinctly different ways.
